Industry — HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical

You're on the job. The phone rings. That job just went to your competitor.

This happens to every contractor, every single day. You're elbow-deep in ductwork. On a roof in 95-degree heat. Under a sink. The phone rings — and the person on the other end with the failed AC unit, the burst pipe at 2am, or the sparking outlet calls the next number on Google.

That call was worth anywhere from $300 to $40,000. And it went to whoever answered first.

What we build

We build AI agents for contractors that answer every call, book every job, and escalate every emergency — while you focus on the work in front of you. Trained on your business, your services, your pricing. Available at 2am on a Sunday just as reliably as 10am on a Tuesday.

Calls missed0%Of contractor calls go unanswered while on job sites
Revenue lost$45–120KPer year to missed calls — average small contracting business
Caller behaviour0%Of callers who hit voicemail immediately call the next contractor
Emergency premium1.5–3×Average job value for after-hours emergency calls vs standard rate
The paradox

The better you are at your job, the more calls you miss.

The busier you are, the more revenue leaks to competitors — even though you're working harder than anyone. A receptionist can't fully solve it (they work 9–5, get sick, take holidays). Voicemail definitely can't (85% of callers hang up without leaving a message).

On-site problem

A plumber can't safely answer while soldering. An electrician can't pick up from an attic. An HVAC tech can't take a call from a rooftop in summer. Every call during that time is a coin toss between a new customer and a lost one.

After-hours problem

Furnace failure at 2am. Burst pipe Christmas morning. Sparking outlet at 9pm. These are your highest-value jobs — emergency rates run 1.5–3× standard — and traditional voicemail captures almost none.

Scale problem

During peak season — heat waves, storms, holiday weekends — call volume spikes 5–10× normal. One admin can't handle that. The overflow calls are exactly the calls you need most.

Callback problem

42% of voicemail callback requests never get returned — you're still on a job when you listen, you lose the note, urgency passes. By the time you call back, they've booked someone else.

Trades FAQ

Common questions from contractors.

Yes — both are natively supported. The AI creates the job record directly in your system with customer details, job type, address, and scheduled time. Housecall Pro and Workiz are also supported.

Emergency detection is built into every deployment. The AI is trained on emergency keywords for your trade and immediately escalates to your emergency contact with the caller's name, number, address, and nature of the problem.

The AI speaks naturally and is trained in your brand voice. Most callers don't distinguish it from a human receptionist. If a caller asks directly, the AI is honest — we don't believe in deceptive AI.

This is where the ROI is most dramatic. A solo contractor misses proportionally more calls and has no fallback. Recovering just 5–8 missed calls per month typically generates 5–10× the monthly cost of the system.

It can give pricing ranges for your most common job types if you want it to. Many contractors prefer to give exact quotes in person and use the AI to book the estimate visit. We configure this in onboarding.
